Portico Project Management is another of Eurobuild’s partners who are keen to encourage their employees to cycle to work and thus promote the ideal of sustainable transport. And the company’s president himself sets the perfect example.
Robert Pawlak has travelled thousands of kilometres by bike, not only in Poland but also abroad. While the president of Portico has been the organiser and initiator of several ambitious bike expeditions, he also enjoys cycling around Warsaw. On July 7th, you will have the opportunity to follow in Robert Pawlak’s tyre tracks – as on this day the 5th ‘Suits on Bikes’ will take place, and one of the group of cyclists on the ride will start out from Portico Project Management’s head office at ul. Spokojna 5 in the city’s Wola district.
‘Suits on Bikes’ is an event aimed at popularising commuting to work by bike and changing office workers’ transport habits. As usual, a few stops will take place along the route for discussions about issues related to cycling in the city. We invite everyone who loves cycling, as well also those who are not yet totally convinced about the bike as a means of getting to and from work. Taking part in the ride will give you the opportunity to get used to the city traffic and also to pick up the cycling bug. If you want to ride with the Portico group from ul. Spokojna or with one of the three other groups – then register today! All the groups will finish at Fort Mokotów, where refreshments and a chance to make new acquaintances will await you.
For more details of the event and registration (which should be done by the end of July 6th!), please go to the event’s website.
