This year, those taking part in the ‘Suits on Bikes’ ride will have the opportunity to visit a place where more than 100 years of history mingles with modernity. We will be starting from three points around Warsaw, but after that each of our roads will lead us to one place: Powiśle. Specifically, to the former Elektrownia Powiśle power station, which is now being revitalised. The combination of the historical features of the power plant with completely new architecture is bestowing it with a unique character. The residents as well as visitors to the capital city will be able to find everything that is most beautiful and wonderful here – and this source of new energy for Warsaw will be turned on in a few months. Elektrownia Powiśle will be a destination for consumers looking for the most exclusive fashion brands as well as a venue for pop-up and concept stores that are entirely new to Poland. Its restaurants will serve cuisine from the different corners of the world. It will also feature the first innovative Beauty Hall concept in the country. And unforgettable experiences lie is store for those who attend the many special events that are to be held in Elektrownia.
All those taking part in the ride will have the chance to learn about the history of Elektrownia Powiśle and find out more about what lies ahead for it in the future. The history of Elektrownia, going back more than a century, will certainly provide food for thought at the discussions that will be held once we arrive at the Przystanek Sztuka pavilion on the Vistula Boulevards for the final part of the event.
